Andrew Stern
Andy graduated Bowdoin College in 1972, and began his business career with a national chain store retail operator, rising over eight years to a senior merchandising position. Thereafter, as an entrepreneur, having founded and operated several successful enterprises, and one significant failure.
In 2005, he sold his teleconferencing service company, Intelligent Meetings Corp, to Premiere Global Services, a NYSE-listed company, and became an active angel investor.
Throughout his career, Andy has invested passively in other start-ups, taking directorships and advisory board roles whenever appropriate. He believes his experiences give him special insights into evaluating business models, and often the opportunity to help a portfolio company navigate through the minefields.
He is a member of Boston Harbor Angels and the Launchpad Venture Group.
